Who can use the Table of Plenty? The goal of this ministry is simply to feed the hungry. Anyone from the community is welcome to shop our shelves.

How often can I visit the Table of Plenty? Once every 30 days.

How much food will I receive? A 3–5-day emergency supply of food for your household. Food boxes are not pre-packed. You choose what your household will eat.

Where does the food come from?  Marion-Polk Food Share, Queen of Peace parishioners, and from our neighboring churches and other organizations.

Who staffs the Table of Plenty pantry? We have over 120 volunteers including Queen of Peace School children and members of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Individuals and families can help in many different ways with this ministry. For more information on volunteering, please contact the parish office.

The parish office is not able to answer questions about what types of food is available each week.

Oregon has the highest number of people in the US who are food insecure – not knowing where their next meal is coming from. According to Marion-Polk Food Share statistics, Last year over 24,000 Salem/Keizer residents sought help with food – over 45 percent were children. 40 percent of the need is right here in South Salem.
