Congratulations! We are thrilled to accompany you on this beautiful journey of faith as you prepare for the sacrament of baptism for your child. Baptism is a vital step in welcoming new members into the Christian community and signifies the beginning of a lifelong journey with Christ.

What is Baptism?

“Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments[...].” CCC 1213

It is the first of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church. It is through baptism that all sins are forgiven, we become adopted sons or daughters of God, we are left with an indelible mark of belonging to Christ, we are welcomed into the Church, we become temples of the Holy Spirit, and we rise to newness of life with Christ. We receive so many graces through our baptism!
